Sports massage —
built around your sport
Sixty minutes of firm work on the chains that carry your training: calves and hamstrings for runners, shoulders and lats for swimmers, hips and lower back for cyclists. Not a spa hour with sports in the name.

Tell me the sport first
The first question is always which sport and how long ago you trained. A runner who did a long session yesterday, a cyclist in the middle of a training block and someone who lifts three times a week need work in three different places — and at three different intensities. Sixty minutes spread evenly over the whole body would waste most of them.
What that looks like in practice: for runners, calves, hamstrings, glutes and the lower back; for cyclists, hip flexors, quadriceps and the whole front of the pelvis; for swimmers and climbers, the shoulder girdle, lats and forearms; for lifting, whatever the last heavy day loaded most.
Timing around training
The most common question after the first appointment. Deep, firm work sits best on a rest day or at least a day away from a hard session — the tissue needs a little time before it is loaded again. Right before a competition, deep work is a bad idea: legs can feel unfamiliar on the day, and that is the last thing you want at the start line. If a race is close, a short and much lighter session two or three days before is the sensible version.
minutes of work
Pure massage time. The short talk at the start and getting dressed afterwards happen outside it.

One masseur, no shift changes. The second appointment starts where the first one ended.
How firm is firm
Sports massage is noticeably firmer than a classic one, but nothing has to be endured. Pressure is agreed at the start and adjusted while we go — a short «a bit less» is enough and changes nothing about the rest of the hour. Tender spots are worked slowly rather than harder; speed is what makes a session unpleasant, not depth.
Afterwards, take it easy for the rest of the day and drink normally. Some people feel a mild next-day soreness in the areas that were worked most, similar to the day after a new exercise.
What this is not
This is a wellness massage, not a medical treatment, and it is not physiotherapy. I do not diagnose, I do not treat injuries and I do not work on anything acute. If something is sharp, new or swollen, see a doctor or a physiotherapist first — I am happy to work with you afterwards.
«Really good massage. It was not a feel-good massage but intensive work on my tension. I will definitely come again.»Josephine Sommer · Google

Frequently asked
How much is a sports massage in Berlin?
70 € for 60 minutes, paid on site after the appointment. No deposit and no packages.
Before or after training?
After, and ideally not on the same day as a hard session. Deep work right before a competition is a bad idea; if a race is close, a lighter session two or three days ahead makes more sense.
Will it hurt?
It is firmer than a classic massage and noticeable in tight areas, but nothing has to be endured. Pressure is agreed at the start and adjusted during the session.
Is this physiotherapy?
No. It is a wellness massage without a prescription and without health insurance billing. For an acute injury, see a doctor or a physiotherapist first.
Do you speak English?
Yes — English, Russian and Ukrainian fluently, German at everyday level.
